My name is Katrina Mallette and I am a registered social worker and registered social service worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I have a Master’s of Social Work with a minor in Psychology.
I support children, teens, adults, and families experiencing a variety of challenges. I provide a client-centered approach with my role being to support and empower you through your journey of personal discovery and self-reflection. I aim to create a non-judgmental, empathetic, safe, and collaborative space where you feel empowered to heal and grow. I employ an integrative strategy using a variety of modalities to suit your individual needs because one size does not fit all.
I draw from both my professional and personal experience to support individuals and families experiencing struggles with anxiety, depression, challenges related to neurodiversity (such as ADHD, ASD), emotional regulation, parenting challenges, grief and loss, oppositional behaviours, and various forms of trauma.
On a personal note, I am the mother of four wonderfully unique neurodiverse children and stepmother to one inspirational neurotypical child who helps me to grow and become a better person every day. Making change can be difficult and often scary but through commitment and work, comes growth and hope. I would be honoured to accompany you along that journey.
