As an art therapist, Nicole values the role art and creative expression have within the therapeutic space, nurturing one’s growth, health and well-being. Nicole believes art therapy is a highly accessible form of therapy that promotes discovery and expression of the self, personal development, and integration. Nicole aims to provide a safe and inclusive environment, providing trauma-informed care using a client-centered approach based on psychodynamic theory and utilizing CBT and mindfulness practices. Nicole also recognizes the value of an interdisciplinary approach and can incorporate diverse theories into the art therapy practice, tailored to the client’s needs.
