Nicole is an Art Therapist registered with the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA) and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), working under the supervision of Christine Harrison, RP.
As an art therapist, Nicole values the role art and creative expression have within the therapeutic space, nurturing one’s growth, health and well-being. Nicole believes art therapy is a highly accessible form of therapy that promotes discovery and expression of the self, personal development, and integration. She hopes to encourage those who do not consider themselves “creative,” as it is not about the final piece but rather the personal journey and process the creator embarks on.
Nicole aims to provide a safe and inclusive environment, providing trauma-informed care using a client-centered approach based on psychodynamic theory and utilizing CBT and mindfulness practices. Nicole also recognizes the value of an interdisciplinary approach and can incorporate diverse theories into the art therapy practice, tailored to the client’s needs.

I believe therapy is an investment in one’s future and a gift to your younger self.
As your therapist, I aim to create a space and journey that best suits you and your desired outcomes.
I personally know how difficult it is to open up about mental health and life stressors. For this reason, I aim to create a safe space where we work together to develop a path toward the self-awareness, confidence, and peace you deserve.
In my practice, I meet with individuals, couples, and families for a wide array of concerns that include but are not limited to stress management, anxiety, eating disorders, body image concerns, relationship issues, depression, trauma, and grief/loss. Further, I also welcome past and present athletes into my practice. My background in sports/ athletics and nutrition coaching has landed me in a unique position to know how it feels to be an athlete struggling with mental health.
My approach is individual-based, as I believe no person should be treated the same as another. I draw on narrative, person-centred, and cognitive-behavioural approaches, meaning I’m here to help guide you. My clients are in the driver’s seat of their healing; I am in the passenger seat with the directions!
Remember, you are not the problem. Your problem is the problem. Let’s work together.
I provide services as a practicum student under the supervision of Scott McCleery
